The winter storm we had this week in West Lafayette and Lafayette produced some pretty epic sights! The snow didn't start consistently coming down until shortly after 3:00 A.M. Wednesday morning, and it kept coming all day.
Pictures of snowmen and snowwomen started to surface mid-morning on social media and the snow day was officially underway! If you have any fun snow day pictures you'd like us to share you can tag our pages on Instagram / Facebook @greaterlafayetteindiana.
Hopefully everyone enjoyed the winter storm whether you played outside, or had a relaxing day inside. If you like the video above please like and subscribe!
The clips in the video above were all filmed with a "GoPro Hero 10 Black" action camera. I chose that camera because, well, it's waterproof and I was filming a snow storm, lol.
The different camera modes used were night-lapse, time-warp (basically a time-lapse but less jumpy), and regular speed (30 fps on GoPro cameras). The 4k quality looks great for such a small camera and I would definitely recommend GoPro to anyone that's in the market for a new camcorder that's light weight and easy to use.
