Wildcat Creek Winery is located at 3233 E 200 N in Lafayette, Indiana. Since opening their doors in 2007 the winery has seen success and become a favorite for many local wine lovers. Their mission is simple.. "Produce the best quality wine possible!"
As you enter the doors to the winery you'll find a small shopping section to your left with wine gift baskets, coasters, wine glasses, corkscrews, and other wine related gadgets. The tasting room is on the opposite side of the building. Last time I visited you were able to taste 5 wines for $5. Not bad! (Please keep in mind if you are planning a trip to the winery with a group of 10 or more people you'll need to make a reservation by calling (765)448-4058.)
The kinds of wine that are offered at Wildcat Creek Winery changes frequently. Generally speaking they have a range of dry, semi-dry, and semi-sweet wines. Whenever it's available, one of my personal favorites is their Blueberry Wine. On the outside of Wildcat Creek Winery you'll find a large porch with plenty of chairs, multiple picnic tables, and a relaxing setting to enjoy a glass of their wine. You're welcome to bring your own picnic food and even your dog as long he or she stays outside. Next time you're in Lafayette stop by to see why Wildcat Creek Winery is one of the best wineries in Indiana. You won't regret it!
